April 22nd witnessed the grand opening of FPT Complex – FPT Software’s 4th campus in Vietnam, in Danang City. The event was joined by representatives from the city council, FPT Software’s clients and leaders of FPT Software and FPT Corporation.
Speaking at the event, FPT Chairman Truong Gia Binh sent his thanking to FPT Danang’s leaders who had helped FPT Danang to reach today’s success. He affirmed that FPT in general and FPT Software in particular would strive harder to create jobs for students in the city to further promote the IT industry in Danang. Mr. Binh also expressed his appreciation towards the trust that clients had given, especially clients from Japan, and sent his condolences to Japanese partners who suffered from the earthquake occurred in their country recently.
Speaking on behalf of the City leaders, Mr. Huynh Duc Tho, Da Nang City Chairman, shared: “I believe FPT will provide jobs for thousands of youths in Danang. I have faith in the development of the company in Danang. We can dream of transforming this place into an IT center, with linkage to many partners all around the world. I wish FPT Software further success. I also want to send my thanking to FPT for putting faith in this city, for pushing IT to become a key industry here”.
Attending the opening of FPT Complex, Deputy CEO of Hitachi Solution, Mr. Yamazaki Hideji sent greetings to FPT Software, with a hope that the building will be filled up with people in the near future and enjoy rapid development. Also, at the ceremony, the clients’ representatives joined the tree planting ceremony with the hope that FPT Complex will move on to become a truly green campus of Da Nang.
Started constructing on 13th of August 2014, FPT Complex is known as the first project in Viet Nam designed in Regulation 2013 of the Ministry of Construction as a “green” office. Modern design will help the campus save 21% of electric power, 32% of water and 20% of energy through the use of green materials. In Phase 1, FPT Complex is expected to welcome the first 3,200 employees to meet the growing needs of human resources and will operate with full capacity of 10,000 people from 2020.
